Legal requirements (Corporate structure, Insurance, regulations, etc)
Cost of Goods (A large portion of the class will cover how to calculate the cost of your product)
Marketing (SWOT, Price, positioning, promotions, etc)
Financial budgeting (Sales, expenses, forecasting, cash flow, etc)

Csaba Nagy
Csaba is a co-founder of The Cake Collective and focuses on the economic half of the business (he's not very good in the kitchen). He has an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Darmouth College.
Valerie Krampac
Valerie is a self-taught cake designer and baker (though she did learn a few additional skills and techniques when she attended the Bonnie Gordon College of Confectionary Arts). In addition to running Sweet Carnival Cakes, she co-founded The Cake Collective with her sister to provide a commercial kitchen for other small food businesses to work from.
Maria Krampac
Maria is a co-founder of The Cake Collective and works closely with her sister on products for both The Cake Collective and Sweet Carnival.
